Like any good sightseer, the Rolling Stones frontman made the rounds Monday, posing before a number of cultural hotspots.

If not for the security that was likely in place, he might have blended in as a 78-year-old tourist.
Mick Jagger used a little downtime Monday to take in some of Dallas’ tourist-y and cultural hotspots before the Rolling Stones’ latest stop on their “No Filter” world tour at the Cotton Bowl.
As proof, Jagger posted selfies at the Cotton Bowl, African American Museum, Deep Ellum and the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden Monday afternoon on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook where he has a collective 9 million followers. The captions read: “Out and about in Dallas today, looking forward to seeing you all @cottonbowlstad tomorrow night!”
A full house is expected at the Cotton Bowl at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Dressed in a plain black T-shirt, brown pants and running shoes for his Dallas photo tour, he departed from his stage persona — he seemed so un-Mick. He does lean into the African American Museum’s portrait of Martha and the Vandellas. In one of his photos, the one at the arboretum, a couple of bystanders in the distance are watching him posing.
On Instagram, he also has tourist-esque shots of himself in Los Angeles, Nashville and St. Louis.
Maybe Jagger feels a little more emboldened being in public. Before a tour stop in Charlotte, N.C., he walked into a local bar and no one noticed. He also posted an image on social media that read, “Out and about last night in Charlotte, N.C.”Mick is no stranger to Dallas. In 1978, wearing a Dallas Cowboys T-shirt and drinking a Heineken, he was interviewed by KDFW in a western wear store in Fort Worth. The Stones performed in 1981 in a driving rainstorm at the Cotton Bowl.An ex-wife, Jerry Hall, is from Mesquite, and certainly, he visited the in-laws. That’s a photo we’d like to see.
